With a robust manufacturing backbone of 12 facilities — including legacy lead-acid battery plants, plastic-component units, and new energy/lithium-ion plants — ARE&M supports a massive production scale. Our current capacities stand at 65+ million automotive batteries per year and 3.2 billion AH in industrial batteries, making us one of India’s largest battery manufacturers.

As part of our vision for a cleaner, electrified future, we have embarked on a major New Energy initiative through ARACT. We are building a state-of-the-art Gigafactory in Divitipally, Telangana, with a long-term target capacity of up to 16 GWh for lithium-ion cell and battery-pack manufacturing.

Complementing manufacturing is our in-house R&D and testing hub — the e-positive Energy Labs, designed to handle material research, cell chemistry development (including multi-chemistry Li-ion cells: NMC, LFP), battery-pack design, BMS electronics, product qualification, and endurance testing under Indian climatic conditions.

Our expanded product portfolio reflects this tech-push: from traditional lead-acid and industrial batteries to next-gen Li-ion battery packs for 2-, 3-, and 4-wheelers; EV chargers (AC built-in, DC fast-chargers, portable chargers); energy-storage solutions for telecom, data-centers, home UPS; and integrated battery-management systems for mobility and stationary applications.

This dual-pillar approach — legacy lead-acid strength + future-ready Li-ion technology — positions ARE&M at the forefront of India’s energy transition and mobility evolution.
